Definitely worth

Was a 5 star game until u added ADS to the home page! I paid $12 for this game to see ads? Boooooooooooooo!!!!!

Not just an outstanding shmup, one of the best iOS games I have ever played!

This is one of the funnest games ever. People who are complaining of the cost think of it this way. First off youre being an A**. Second, the arcade version cost about $3000. Third, games that arnt an app cost about $30 or more unless its a crappy game. So just by the game, you never know they take games off the app store and this will eventually be off because people are too stubborn to buy it. So please buy this app, because it wont last if you dont buy it. And this is for Cave can you make it multiplayer over openfeint because the Xbox version is multiplayer and I would love to play with friends.

I downloaded the free version on my IPod(broke) and it took me two years to find it for my new IPad. Love it ^w^

Caves usual goodness, but I really wouldnt mind seeing the Black Label features. Especially if I paid $12...

This game is amazing, 10 stars !!!

5/5 for Arcade Mode, 3/5 for Smartphone Mode, so Ill average the two and give it a 4/5 overall. The shop/upgrade system in Smartphone Mode is rather obnoxious, but it couldve been much worse. Even ignoring the in-app purchases, the RPG elements simply dont mix well with the shooter game mechanics. At least the stuff I unlocked in Normal difficulty is more powerful than most of the cash shop stuff, which Im never going to buy. Overall, Smartphone Mode isnt terrible, but its quite a letdown considering CAVE usually does much better than this. The Smartphone Modes in Espgaluda II and DoDonPachi Resurrection were both absolutely brilliant. This, not so much. Its like seeing a straight-A student get a C. Still, Arcade Mode is made of the usual CAVE awesomeness.

I love this game so much! It is so much fun! Tiara is my favorite and I love to play this game

theres no Black Label content. Sure, Smarphone Mode is fun but the fact that were missing out on content that the 360 version has makes me wince a bit. Overall, this is a great game on the go. Keep up the good work Cave, but please make a port of Deathsmiles 2? :)

black bars on iphone5 screen.. please update.

The best arcade to phone app Ive had the chance to witness first hand. Dont let anyone tell you, "oh it doesnt for iPhone 5 this or its not modified that" stop you from getting this. It has more than enough content to fill the hearts of RPG lovers, action players, and even those who just like quick play games! I Owen the original Xbox360 port and Ive gotta say even with a few missing things from that version what they added as compensation more than makes up for it. Do yourself a favor and dont let the price scare you away this isnt just a 5 min play and beat game. This is something you could easily expect to see on Xbox love or psn store. The price is actually quite a deal!

Please fix the bug. I cant flip around the screen! Its also making me not able to hear the music and sound cause my left hand is covering the right speaker and that seems to be providing the sound. No sound is coming out from the left speaker. Its very frustrating to play with these issues. Also having the option to use joystick would be awesome. Please fix these problems soon! I love shmups! Hope to see akai katana for the iOS

I love this app although I feel it was a tad expensive. Runs great feel great. I would really just love iPhone 5 screen support! Or at least the ability to control the character with the whole screen! Please and thank you. I recommend if you like deathsmiles! Have it wherever you go!

I like the game but I always have to start over whenever I exit. There should be a save button.

ios 7.03 not used.. last boss fight error.. hurry fix please...

I love this game, and I really dig this company. Their ports are top-notch, and their response times when it comes to fixing issues are refreshingly prompt. This was my first foray into Cave shmups, and I cant wait to buy more.
